What are session costs at each location?
Crosland Moor Preschool:
- Full day:- 8:15am – 4:30pm is £50
- Full day:- 9am – 3:30pm is £40
- Sessions:- 9am -12noon, or 12:30pm – 3:30pm is £20
Thornton Lodge Nursery and Preschool:
- Full day:- 8am – 6pm is £60
- Half day:- 8am – 1pm, or 1pm – 6pm is £32.50
- Holiday Club:
- 9am – 3pm is £25
- Or full day 8am – 6pm is £35
- Breakfast Club:- £7.00
- After School Club:- £10:50
How many hours can I have for free?
Free learning and childcare:
15 hours for all 2 year olds. Apply online at:
www.kirklees.gov.uk/freechildcare
15 hours for all children 3 years above. This is universally available.
Working parents:
30 hours for all children with working parents from 9 months.
Apply online at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
Are there any additional costs when using funding?
There are no additional costs as the funding covers the full price of the sessions used: this includes full cooked hot meals provided for by each location.
What is the food schedule?
- Breakfast is 8:30am – 9am
- Snack at 10am
- Lunch is 12noon -12:30pm
- Snack at 2pm
- Tea is 4pm – 4:30pm
What is your hygiene rating?
We have a 5-star Food Hygiene rating in both settings (locations).
What ages do you accept in your locations?
At Crosland Moor Preschool we accept children from 18mth to 4 years.
At Thornton Lodge Nursery and Preschool we accept children from 0mth to 11 years.
Are all staff First Aid trained?
Yes, all staff are Paediatric First Aid trained with management also, First Aid At Work trained.
How safe is your recruitment process?
All staff are fully DBS checked and are on the update service which is checked by management termly.
Which schools do we provide breakfast and after school care for?
We collect from, and drop off to Mount Pleasant Primary School for our breakfast and after school care club.
